Here's some beautiful stemware which was made by the Fosto ria Glass Company of Moundsville, West Virginia. The etched decoration on these is Fostoria's No. 341 Plate Etching, called "Romance", which was introduced in 1942 and continued in production until 1971. This is Fostoria's Blank 6017, called "Sceptre"; these are the 6-ounce high sherbets from that line of stemware. These glasses are just under 5-1/2" tall; they're about 3-1/2" across the mouth, and the foot's about 2-7/8" in diameter. Haven't measured the volume, but 6 ounces seems reasonable (Fostoria was usually pretty good at pegging the volume, but usually it referred to how much a glass held when filled to the brim - 'functional capacity' for these is probably more like 8 ounces of liquid). All seven are in great shape with no nicks, chips, flakes, fleabites, or other damage. Beautiful vintage Fostoria stemware, and they need a new home. Any questions (or comments) at all, feel free to e-mail. Thanks for looking, and be sure and check out my other auctions!
