Her name is Sevinyl. As I always do when something new debuts, I end up going a bit "crazy" and buying too many until I end up having to resell some (after realizing once again that I'm not secretly rich or a lottery winner!).Anyway, my loss is always your gain. I am reselling a bunch of these dolls - only because of financial reasons. I'd buy even more if I could afford them! What a Fantastic, Talented artist. Thank you!****************************************************Artist's original description below:SEVINYL is a new vinyl doll, the vinyl counterpart to her hard plastic sister, Severine.Like Severine she is made in a numbered limited edition of 500.She shares her sisters voluptuous proportions, but is a little bit slimmer .She is strung on elastic which gives her head and arms a charming mobility, enabling her to pose, showing various subtle moods and emotions. Her head tilting to show imperiousness to humility.She is made of rich, superior quality vinyl. She is very much a re- imagining of a vintage doll from the 1960's with a strong European influence, referencing Caprice, Mily in her composition and painting style and the East German doll Petra was also an influence.Each doll is individually hand painted by me with acrylic inks that are stable on the vinyl.The hair is lustrous and unlike Severines it is factory rooted in two shades, platinum and dark brunette. 250 of each.Each doll wears a one off, hand made outfit.She stands the same height as most fashion dolls of this genre, 11.5 inches , 29cm, and can share clothes with them , at a pinch ( very slightly smaller bosom , very slightly larger hips)This is doll number 37.She wears a gorgeous gold evening dress made by Rosina Haskell, accessorised with gloves, a stole and a bag. She also has a beautiful necklace with a tiny turquoise cameo.Sevinyl comes in a clear display tube with a stand that was especially made for her. She will come shipped in a bespoke card tube.The numbered edition come with a signed document of authenticity.Non smoking home, 4 cats not allowed near collection.
