SEWING MACHINE TABLE FOR SINGER FEATHERWEIGHT 221-1 My mother purchased this table in the 50's for her Singer Featherweight 221-1. G243532 is stamped on the bottom of the insert. I see no other numbers underneath the table. Stamped on a metal part under the table and underneath w the machine rests: 136214 Simanco U.S.A. The black metal legs, with metal tips on the bottom, have metal hinges at the top and the legs fold inward along the sides - have a few minor nicks but no cracks or breaks. They are very sturdy. Top of the table is grained wood with black side trim. The top and sides have quite a few marks, one cigarette burn, and some paint loss. Wood is rough on the edge and at corners of table - pictures show the worst wear which isn't bad after all these years. Measurements: 30" inches square and 27 3/8" high. The insert fits flush with the top of the table and locks in nicely. The base of the featherweight 221-1 fits down between 10" brackets (from end of one to end of the other); leather strips cover metal w machine sits. When insert is removed the opening measures 17 7/8" long, 7 3/8" at widest in middle and 7 1/8" at the end, 2" deep. Notched end accepts the 221-1 plug. I have done my best to describe this table. Please look at pictures and ask questions before bidding. I am not making any money off the shipping - have checked around and not found any boxes to hold this table. This will be packed and shipped by UPS. I have added a picture of the table with the sewing machine in it - it is not included with the table. NO RETURNS
