I am so very pleased to offer this very special one of a kind Victorian Shabby Rose Ticking Vintage Lace Crazy Quilt mini christmas tree skirt that I have created for you to see. A true labor of Love straight from the heart. What a sweet accent for your small or table top tree! I have included a photo of this tree skirt used with my quilted heart ornaments so you could see how sweet they are when used together.....this auction is for the tree skirt only.....the ornaments are sold seperately in my other auction listings. This is such a special piece and was a true pleasure to create.... I have so many hours wrapped up into this one...but it was worth every second. A perfect touch of sweetness....so very soft and soothing to the eye. The fabrics I have used are some of the most gorgeous shabby cottons that I have ever worked with... in shades of shabby sage green, soft pink, rose and white...the rose ticking fabric is my very favorite... you will fall in love with this fabric! I have also used a vintage raised rose appliqued table cover for the sweet rose appliques.... they are truly beautiful! This little skirt is crazy quilted and I have hand appliqued white vintage laces throughout the piece. Each seam of this quilt is hand stitched with the most beautiful fibers and each stitch is also hand beaded by yours truly! T are several hundred beads throughout this quilt including swarovski crystal beads in shades of shabby green and rose pink and some of the sweetest seed beads I could find in shabby hues (way too many of those to even think about counting!!) The crystals and beads glisten ever so sweetly when the light hits them just so. I have also embellished this skirt with 15 vintage mother of pearl buttons many of them being carved and also 23 porcelian rose's in soft shade of blush pink in three sizes. These rose's are so sweet and add a perfect touch of grace and t combined with the vintage lace. For the backing of this skirt I have used a wonderful blush pink moire type silky fabric. I have finished this sweet skirt off with the sweetest ticking ruffle ....Oh...my... how fitting this ruffle is to finish off this lil skirt...so very elegant! I have used two tiny vintage pearl buttons and vintage tatted lace for closure around your tree.... how cute is that? You will see something new everytime you look at this little sweet skirt. I love detail and t is so much in this little work of art. This sweet mini tree skirt measures 24" in diameter which does include the sweet ruffle. Just so sweet and must be seen to appreciate how much detail is involved in this piece as well as the many hours of handwork that is involved. Would make a wonderful gift for a special friend or loved one to treasure for many years to come. Winning bidder to pay $6.50 for shipping and insurance is included.
