I picked up a few quilt tops this past summer at an Estate sale in Central Maine. The lady whose estate was being sold apparently loved to quilt. She had several unfinished quilts and this is one of them. This is not a real old quilt top. I believe that it was made sometime in the 80's. I am not a quilt expert but believe this to be the Log Cabin pattern. This is a machine pieced quilt. It was done very well. Just needs to be backed and quilted. The fabrics are really vibrant. Included with this quilt top is a nice large(111 X 92 inches) piece of pinkish cotton fabric that could be used to back this quilt. It came in the bag with the quilt top at the estate sale so I believe that is what this lady was going to use. It is really pretty and would make a lovely backing. This quilt will look great with shabby cottage styles of decor. It is a nice large size. Some of the photos were taken on my queen size bed. It measures 98 X 81 inches. It is in excellent condition. Had been properly stored. It has no holes,stains,or bad odors. This will be absolutely gorgeous when finished!! You will not be sorry with this one. LOW STARTING BID and NO RESERVE!!
