Great Farm House Table from rural Western PA - Don't forget to Check out my other items ! What a find!. This was lovingly constructed and used for many years. Its top is tongue and groove. The legs are strong, but show a little wear on the bottom from sitting in a barn for years. While cleaning it up I kept finding little straw bits in the crevices. It's size and shape make it very versatile. Put some wheels on it and it could be a kitchen island -work station. I took a couple of pictures with a little wood and leather chair so that you can see t is plenty of leg room. It's a wonderful entry table, sofa table, or use this as your entertainment center. It sure would be a nice TV stand. You could also use it as a writing desk in the kitchen while reading your favorite recipes, or office desk. A piece like this hardly ever leaves because when you remodel, you'll always be able to find another spot. This table will fit in almost any decor from Victorian to French Country to Mission Style to Country Cottage design. It is solid and sturdy and can hold most anything. The dimensions for this beauty are: are 48 inches wide, 20 inches deep and 29 inches high to the top surface. Why is this piece so lovely? WE TAKE PRIDE IN RESTORING GOOD PIECES & GIVING THEM A NEW LIFE AND HOME 1. We found a fantastic piece to start with 2. We cleaned it an made any repairs necessary; ie scraping off water aged veneers, fixing wobbles and creaks. 3. We hand sanded it. 4. We primed it and sanded again. 5. We hand painted it. This piece is done in our signature antique linen white. 6. We cleaned and restored the hardware. 7. We distressed it in just the right places 7. We applied wax and buffed it by hand. Take a look at the pictures one more time compare us to others and you'll notice the superior craftmanship and artistry in our finished (shabby?) piece. Check out my other items !
