Offering these four beautiful volumes of William Shakespeares works, including: The Comedies, Tragedies, Tragedies Poems, and The Histories; published by Collins, London & Glasgow, 1963. Semi hardboards are red pebbled leather with gold lettering and decorations on spines. Good++ condition, no spine cracks, no fraying or stains, teeny bit of rubbing of top spine edge on two volumes, very clean. Page tops are gold gilt. Inside pages are clean and crisp, no scribbling, tears, stains, or missing pages -gift inscription on inside blank page - presented as a token of love and appreciation for his guidance as President of San Diego Shakespeare Society, Old Globe Theater, 1965-1968. All retain their original grosgrain ribbon markers. Each comes with a clear plastic cover and also comes with original cardboard sleeve. Beautiful books for your collection and enjoyment or a wonderful gift!
