Soft dark red leather boards, very clean, no spine cracks or stains, handsome gold gilt decoration on front and lettering on spine; top page edges are also gold gilt. Pages are clean and tight, no scribbling, stains, or tears; previous owner signed front blank page. Beautiful engraving facing title page of Shakespeare, covered with tissue sheet. Retains original satin ribbon marker, measures 5 inches x 4 inches. A very handsome little book for your home library or office!
