New built aluminum shallow water diving helmet, constructed of 1/8" thick aluminum, MIG welded with salt water resistant aluminum alloy wire. Windows are 3/8" thick polyacrylic plastic plate, set with a good grade of windshield adhesive. Helmet has 1/4" NPT air entrance connection. Shoulder pads are 1/4" neoprene foam (like wet suit material) bonded to shoulder rests with a water-proof adhesive and also act as feet when helmet is sitting on the floor or a table. The helmet is equipped with an adjustable air exhaust valve that can be set to maintain the water level inside the helmet at the desired level. A baffle assembly routes inlet air across the top, front and side windows. This is a useable helmet for shallow water diving or pool diving. Helmet weighs 49 pounds - with ballast weights - is 23" high, 15" deep (front to back) and 14 " wide (to outside of shoulder supports. The helmet will be well boxed and shipped and insured by UPS(Ground), unless, the buyer chooses otherwise. Estimated shipping weight is 60 pounds, and the shipping ZIP code is 70815. T is a $20 packaging charge on this item to cover the cost of the packing materials. T is no charge for packing or handling. The buyer pays the UPS charges from 70815 to his location and is encouraged to use the UPS Ground rate calculator to estimate the shipping charges.
