From a lovely, old home in middle Ohio, came this American oak gentleman's shaving stand. At the turn of the 20th century, all bedrooms that housed an adult male usually contained a shaving stand. The small (recently re-silvered) beveled mirror of this shaving stands hangs over a drop front which is supported by tall legs. The lower shelf displays a "stick 'n ball" railing and small shaped skirt. Many of these pieces still smell of the strong linaments of that day. Use this shaving stand as an accent item in a bathroom or bedroom. It's somewhat rare, and not an item you will see often. This nice shaving stand has been professionally restored and refinished and can be yours today.
