SHAW LOW D WHISTLE Dave Shaw has been hand-making the finest smallpipes and whistles in Country Durham, England for over 25 years. His instruments are highly regarded as among the best available by musicians the world over. Rothesay Music is pleased to offer Dave Shaw Whistles among our range of fine products for the discerning musician. We believe these are the finest whistles on the market. Yes, they are a little more expensive than your run-of-the-mill whistles, but as with any musical instrument, you get what you pay for. SHAW Low D whistle is a sweet-toned instrument, individually voiced and accurately tuned to give maximum performance. The whistle is a tapered design, handmade in solid nickel silver sheet with a carved hardwood block to form the mouthpiece. Length 57.5cm. Shaw whistles are constructed using lead-free solder. Supplied with rigid protective storage/transit case. Also available in soprano D, see additional listing.
