You are bidding on an actual piece of Shea Stadiu m! Up for auction is the bottom half of a seat from the Field Level--it was from Box 6A, Seat 3 to be exact. The seat is in slightly banged-up condition, with a bunch of surface scratches (see pictures). T he tape on the seat was placed t before the demolition for identification purposes. I t looks great in a shadow box (I have one on my wall) or you can even make a usable seat/stool out of it (I did that as well).
Pairs of seats from Shea are being sold for $869, and even seat backs are priced at $250 and up. As always, the bidding for this seat piece starts at just a penny and it's an opportunity to own a piece of Shea without having to break the bank, plus it's way cooler than the $300 napkin holder you can get on the Mets site :) Shipping for the seat is $10. I accept Paypal and the seat will be shipped immediately upon receiving payment.
