Here is a colorful Sheaffer's "Autograph" mechanical pencil in "marine green and black and pearl" color scheme which sold for a premium price of $10.00 in 1931. The clip, band and tip are marked "14K". The propelling action works correctly and smoothly. The middle band is factory engraved with the "forged" signature of the original owner: P.A. Dulan. There are numerous teeth marks on the top. No cracks or other notable defects. The Sheaffer imprint is faint. $3.00 for US mail; $4.00 for Canada; $5.00 for overseas mail.
