Sheaffer Imperial II Deluxe FOUNTAIN PEN & BALLPEN -BLK WHITE DOT - FINE Triumph Nib - Touchdown Filler - NOS Specifics Type Fountain Pen and matching "reminder clip" ballpoint Product Name Imperial II Deluxe Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer - 1960s Length 5-3/8" capped Filling System Touchdown (vacuum) filling system - in perfect working order with excellent suction ... it makes that nice "whoosh" sound. Color The body is a deep shiny black color.I have seen the cap described as frosted stainless steel, but I believe this differs slightly from the pens described elsew in that t is no plain/polished cap lip, and the finish is smooth to the touch. I have not been able to find out anything about the Deluxe version, and most references online seem to be describing the standard Imperial II. Nib FINE conical Triumph nib, not marked as to metal (but marked Sheaffer Made in USA), silver-colored. (I have heard these described as unhallmarked palladium.) Very smooth. Condition BRAND NEW OLD STOCK FROM THE 1960s! These pens are new old stock from the 1960s. They have never been used and the fountain pen has never been inked. They are absolutely perfect with no dents, dings or even micro scratches! The Sheaffer chalk mark is still on the fountain pen's barrel, and a sticker is on the ballpoint's cap. FYI, the ink refill in the ballpoint is new, but appears to be dried out. Not returnable if the pen has been filled with ink.
