Offered for sale Sheaffer Legacy II Matte Black Cap w/Brushed Platinum Barrel comes with Fine 18k gold, palladium plated nib. These Sheaffer palladium plated nibs are firm enough for the heaviest hand and still put down a smooth, wet, consistent line. Unlike the newer Sheaffer Heritage, this USA made model has the To uchdown bottle fill mechanism yet takes stardard Sheaffer cartridges too. This pen is near new, as it has never been put in regular use, but I cannot say it is "mint" because of a 1-2mm wide depression in the plating on the brushed platinum barrel. See photo. I'm not sure how this happened. The brush finish is smooth but you cannot feel any indentation. Comes in original box with papers including the lucite pen rest which has never been removed from the wrapper. Questions are welcome but I'll be traveling during part of this auction so they may not be answered immediately and best not wait until the very end.
