*** PLEASE SEE MY OTHER LISTINGS FOR INTERESTING SLIDES & EPHEMERA *** *** I WILL COMBINE SHIPPING COSTS FOR ALL MULTIPLE PURCHASES *** (Please check before making payment) General Information Old Electric Tram Negative TRAM # 25 (approx) 85mm x 60mm This negative comes from a large collection of photographs taken by an amateur photographer and tramway enthusiast during the period from the late 1940s through to the early 1960s. The identity of the photographer is unknown to me but they appear to have been based around the Sheffield area as this is where the majority of the images were taken. Some of the envelopes in which the negatives are stored have been captioned by the photographer, none have been dated. There are a couple of photographs taken at events in Sheffield that have been well documented and which took place in the late 1940s so it is a fair bet that others in the collection were also taken around that time. Other areas include Sunderland, Liverpool and Birmingham. Having looked at all the negatives my best guess for when they were taken would be during the period late-1940s to early-1960s. I have scanned each of the 200+ negatives of trams at a fairly high resolution but the sharpness and clarity of the image may improve if professionally produced.
