Unique vintage enamel sign On offer here is a double sided SHELL MEX Sign 20" x 16"Estimating that it dates from 1930 - 1950 (not definite). Appears to be porcelain enamel with some damage (as shown in the photographs) with some holes - possibly bullet holes.It is still in good condition for displayIt is deigned to look like an old oil can. Drawn in an oblique image = 45 degrees.SHELL MEX name on top on both sides. Colouring is quite good.THIS MAY BE THE LAST OF ITS KIND. Have not seen any like this around.Don't know much more about it. It was a barn find which I have had for approx 18 years. It has been living in my shed ever since.Thank You for looking.
