Shelley Art Deco BANDS & LINES pattern No W12131 Regent shape trio. Pattern No W12131 Bands & Lines: Two tone shades of green bands and lines on a white ground. Green ring handle on cup. Entered in pattern book during or after 1933. The shape of this set is the REGENT shape which was produced from 1930 - 1962. All 3 pieces are in very good clean condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. A few light surface scratches to the centre of the plate can only be seen under very close scrutiny. All paintwork is in good order. All 3 pieces have a great "ping" to them. The backstamp is the 1925-1940 green cartouche. Approximate measurements: diameter of cup base 47mm (1.8 inches) / diameter across top 87mm (3.4 inches) / height of cup 69mm (2.7 inches) / diameter of saucer 140mm (5.5 inches) / diameter of plate 177mm (6.9 inches) This fabulous trio from the Art Deco period would make a very nice addition to someone's collection.
