Shelley Art Deco - Crocus - Vegetable Dish C'1932 A beautiful Shelley Art Deco vegetable dish in the Crocus pattern no.11952, produced for Lawleys of Regent Street. Entered in the pattern books in 1932. White ground china with hand painted yellow, blue, pink crocuses, green foliage, grey trees and butterfly, the dish is finished with green finial to the lid. green handles and green rim to the base. The dish is in good condition, there are no chips or cracks, there is a little wear to the glaze on the inside base of the dish, which can only be seen on close inspection,with some age clean age crazing also on the inside base. The finial of the lid has been repainted where the original painted has flaked, there is a small scratch to the finial.
