Shelley Dainty Raspberry???? Butter Dish This lovely Shelley Dainty Raspberry??? butter dish is a rarely seen piece. The base measures approx.7-1/2" x 3-1/2" the lid measures approx. 5-3/4" x 2-1/2" and is 2" deep. It is a stunning piece and is snowy white in colour. The colours of the leaves and what I think looks like a Raspberry but not sure if it is or not are really bright. No chips, cracks, hairlines or crazing. It appears unused. There are some minute clear pinhead marks on the lid and the inside base. These are really small and only mentioned for complete accuracy . I have photographed both these so please check all the photographs. It has the Shelley England Fine Bone China backstamp. This is a superb find for any Shelley Dainty c ollector, as it is a rare shape of butter dish, which does not appear very often and in such stunning condition is extremely hard to find.
