Shelley WIND FLOWER trio (cup, saucer, plate) in the Dainty shape -- in MINT condition! The salad (or luncheon) plate is 8-1/8" across, the saucer is 5-3/4" across and the cup is 2-1/2" tall and 3-1/2" across the top. All 3 pieces have the green "Fine Bone China Shelley England" backstamp (1940-1966) with "Wind Flower" and pattern number "14032" stamped in pink script underneath. The trio is in the Dainty shape, with its classic scalloped edges and center star design. This flawless set is trimmed in pink and each piece has the Shelley "ring". The Wind Flower pattern has shades of lavender, deep purple, rose, pink and spring green against a pristine white background -- gorgeous! The floral pattern decorates both sides of the cup (see pic 6 for the back view) and includes a charming bud inside the cup (see pic 5). Since Wind Flower wasn't introduced until 1960 and Shelley was taken over in 1966, that short production time makes this one of the hardest floral patterns for Shelley fans to find now. The hunt for this stunning pattern is well-worth it! :-) I'm always happy to combine your multiple purchases to save on shipping costs.
