We are please to present this unusual two piece Shelley fine bone china round covered cheese or butter dish in the much sought after pattern, Lily of the Valley. The round dome top has sprays of Lily of the Valley on a white porcelain background with a light green knob at the top. The round base also has sprays of Lily of the Valley and a raised inner lip to hold the top in place.On the bottom of the base, in light green is written Fine Bone China Shelley England Lily of the Valley 13822. The dome to measures 5 1/2" across and 3 3/4" high to the top of the knob. The base measures just over 7" across and just over 1" high. Both pieces of this hard to find covered serving dish are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The dome pings like a bell, beautifully.
