Here is a vintage 'SHERGOLD METEOR' from 1975, it has had a fair amount of use which is evident from it's charismatic appearance. The date has been obtained from the serial number 1159 as 1975, (despite an erroneous later stamping of '80') The weight of the guitar is 3.7 kg the neck and fingerboard are Maple and with only minor wear to edge of fingerboard, with the body (I believe) in Obeche. Note the 'zero' fret for a low action and individual string adjustment for height and intonation. The two humbucking pick-ups are switchable and give a clear sound According to the www. website only 11 were produced in 75, this one being the year's penultimate product! The neck is true and pots, switches and jack socket are original and working fine. The sale includes a hard case in fair condition (not in photos) The original price would have been around £150, this is a rare BRITISH hand made instrument and would enhance any collection.
