Tonight I'm happy to offer, from a recently purchased estate, Sherman, Vintage, Late 1950's - Fuchsia and Hot Pink Color - Marquise and Round Shaped Crystals - 2" Curved Leaf Cluster - Brooch and Earring Set. EXTREMELY RARE COLORS & DESIGN - MINT CONDITION! - NO RESERVE! This graceful and elegant set dates from the late 1950's, made by the well known Canadian firm of "Sherman" designed as a medium sized 2" by 1.25", tapered leaf cluster layered and stacked for a 3-D effect. The set is done in a series of dazzling and intense fuchsia and hot pink colored round and marquise shaped crystals set in a rhodium plated setting. The brooch comes with a pair of 1" cluster earrings that match the details in the brooch. The set is in mint condition showing only normal use all the original stones, none missing or replaced. The brooch is mint, the earrings showing only a very faint loss to the finish or plating on the back of the earrings. The brooch is marked on the back, Sherman in a small silver square and Sherman on the back of the ear clips. SHERMAN Sherman was a Canadian costume jewelry company that produced very high-quality pieces. Colorful or clear prong-set rhinestones or cut crystal beads (sometimes with an aurora borealis finish) adorn most Sherman pieces; the metal is rhodium-plated or gold-plated.
