Antique Shibayama Shell Opera Glasses c.1900 This is an unusual & probably quite rare Shibayama opera glass, circa 1900. With very fine decoration to the shell both inlaid with semi precious stones & highly detailed lacquer. The optics are clear & in perfect working order. CONDITION T are a few pieces of inlay missing & a shrinkage split to the shell although it is hidden somewhat as it is on the inside. The lacquer work is near pristine & the overall appearance of the glasses is extremely clean & crisply detailed.
