This is a very healthy, attractive shinshinto wakizashi (ca.1800. Late Edo period). Mumei (unsigned). File marks prominent. Total length: 20 and 7/8". Nagasa 15 and 1/8", ubu, with 1 hole, sori 3/16". Blade is robust, healthy, and in excellent overall condition, having only minor scratching/scuffing. Would benefit from a light surface polish, but it is great as is. Hada is ko-itame. Hamon is a beautiful and flamboyant choji-midare. In full polish, this will be a truely outstanding piece. 2 habaki. The one shown in the pictures, and its original silver habaki (pictures will be added). Comes in simple black saya. Authenticity is absolutely 100% guaranteed. Any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me. FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE, fully insured. Certain countries may have other restrictions, so please inquire. Thank you for looking, and good luck bidding. Carmen.
