SHIRO KASAMATSU Woodblock Print MOUNTAN LODGE 1958 SHIRO KASAMATSU Mountain Stream of Atara Date: 1958, this ( ato-zuri ) undated later early edition published by Unsodo from the original wood blocks
Size: approx. 10.5" x 15.5" Condition: Fine, never framed, no flaws, uncirculated print Impression: Fine; made from the original blocks; although undated this is an early edition with the original Unsodo publisher's seals in the left margin Color: Fine, exceptional color; often times later editions of this print are washed out, this print is crisp and has very strong color Most first and many early edition Unsodo prints designed by Kasamatsu are no longer available in uncirculated condition. It will not be long before all these early Unsodo impressions are gone, and most designs are not likely to be reprinted according to the publisher.
