Shoji hamada mashiko studio pottery vase attributed EXC

is a beautiful japanese mashiko pottery bottle/vase attributed to shoji hamada. This bottle is part of a small asian collection that was donated to one of our local thrift stores hence the two magic marker price remnants. I was told this piece is possibly done by hamada, I did a extensive google image search and it definitely has all of the right things going for it.I am not sure so I will let the masses decide.

The stoneware bottle is basically 4 3/8" Square each side varing slightly in length. So 4 3/8"W x 7 1/2"H . Each side has three vertical stripes done in a orange/rust brown. The RB glaze is peeking through in various places including the inside top, bottom edges, side edges and top edges also. Blackish glaze on the top, Heavy glaze on the body with lots of detail highlights. Excellent condition awesome piece with no reserve. Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
