The best pistol and rifle shooters of this command were selected during competition in the spring of 1957 at Camp Fuji, Japan. The Team then deployed to the United States, and team members participated in the ALL ARMY MATCHES at Fort Benning, GA, the NATIONAL MATCHES at Camp Perry, OH and at various civilian matches throughout the Eastern United States.

The team won several trophies, both in team events and individual competition events.

The photo was taken at HQ Eighth Army, Korea, in the winter of 1957. Selected Team members present the team trophies to General George Decker, Eighth Army Commander.
