A superb Art Glass vase, signed and dated by the artist Siddy Langley in 1984. Still retains the original gold foil studio label for the London Glassblowing Workshop. Siddy's signature can be seen near the label on the base (see photo below). Approx. size: 6 1/4 " (16 cms) diameter x 5 1/2 " (14 cms) high, weighs a hefty 3lb. (1.35 Kg.). Siddy Langley did her apprenticeship under Peter Layton, the founder of the London Glassblowing Workshop . She worked there from 1979 until 1987. This stunning piece has three large irridescent blue flowers surrounded by leaves. Condition is excellent, no chips, cracks or repairs, there are a few normal wear scratches on the base.
