This is a very nice group of vintage molding planes. They are all side-beaders. The bead sizes are as follows: 1/4", 5/16", 5/16", 7/16", 5/8", 11/16", and 7/8". Three are box-quirked. One is double box-quirked and four are very nicely key-boxed. The makers are W MARPLES (2), J GIBSON, J & J GIBSON, J KELLOGG & CO, HILLS & WINSHIP, T J McMASTER & CO.The MARPLES have owners stamps and were cleaned and waxed by a previous owner at some point. The other 5 have no owners stamps and are in "as found" condition - a little dusty and rusty with some remnants of shavings. All these planes have their original blades and wedges.
