Its a rare, very beautiful painting.The hard part will be deciding which to display. This is such an unusual piece...you don't see them often! Our local antique shop believes that this painting is from the period 1930-1940, possibly American in origin,a lovely, luminous landscape and a fantasticharbor scene with sailing ships. These paintingsare very bold and colorful...reminiscent of thefauvist painters. Its superb and unusual piece!The colors are luminous and rich, with beautiful hues of blues, purples, reds, greens...the colors that made the impressionists noteable.
