2 Sided Solid Elm Japanese / Korean 3 Piece Step Tansu This is a wonderful 2 Sided vintage Tansu that I have had for about ten years. I purchased it form an estate in the Washington DC area – that is about all I know. The simple lines and graceful dimensions of this piece blend very well with almost any décor including Danish Modern. This is a personal piece that has been in our family for a number of years but we are ready to move-on and I do not have a place for this piece at the moment. This is a gorgeous 2 sided solid elm Japanese / Korean three pieces step Tansu (see photos) in excellent vintage condition . The door and step faces are accusable from either side and they are decorated with nice hand made brass hardware. The two step sections have drawers and doors and the larger center section has sliding doors and drawers. All three sections fit onto a base section that holds then together. The three pieces can be used together as a room divider / organizer or used separately. At one time we used the step sections as end tables on the left and right of a sofa.
