This is a wonderful 2 Sided vintage Tansu that I have had for about ten years. I purchased it form an estate in the Washington DC area – that is about all I know.

The simple lines and graceful dimensions of this piece blend very well with almost any décor including Danish Modern. This is a personal piece that has been in our family for a number of years but we are ready to move-on and I do not have a place for this piece at the moment.

This is a gorgeous 2 sided solid elm Japanese / Korean three pieces step Tansu (see photos) in excellent vintage condition . The door and step faces are accusable from either side and they are decorated with nice hand made brass hardware. The two step sections have drawers and doors and the larger center section has sliding doors and drawers. All three sections fit onto a base section that holds then together. The three pieces can be used together as a room divider / organizer or used separately. At one time we used the step sections as end tables on the left and right of a sofa. This set can be arranged in a number of different ways to suit your décor. Please review all the photos.

SHIPPING: I have developed a small network of trusted and insured independent truckers who specialize in the safe delivery of antique and collectable furniture. In some cases (depending on box size and distance) blanket wrapped delivery to your home by one of these truckers could be no more expensive than FedEx or Greyhound. These independent truckers offer VERY good pricing and I can usually get a piece this size deliver to Boston, New York, Miami, Dallas, Chicago, Detroit and destination in between for around $250 - $350. When service is available I can usually get a piece like this to the west coast for around $350. Costs can very a bit so let me know if you would like a specific delivery quote.

Shipping Times: While the shipping companies I use offer exceptional pricing and great service the delivery times are longer than more expensive companies. If delivery time is critical please give me a call to discuss shipping arrangements. I have also used Plycon with good results when time is critical.
