I am selling many animals! Please check out my other auctions>^..^< I usually do not collect dogs but this one caught my eye because of it's exceptional face! The mold is poured in a way that is not often found in casting- pieces of the wonderful hair that makes the Skye Terrier so adorable is hanging in front of the eyes. If you have ever seen casting done you know that it is very hard to make spaces like that. This great piece is 7 1/2" long and 4 3/4" tall at the ear. She has a wonderful expression- what a face! No damage or repairs at all- smooth ears and edges. Her colors are soft and subtly shaded- just an overall cutie! She is marked on the base "Thomasch Sierndorf" in a circle and Made in Austria below that. Wonderful piece- I will bet that you will fall in love with it too!
