Up for auction is a Sig Smith Miniplane. The box, plans and parts are all in great shape. At one time, we were planning on building it and cut out all of the parts that were not die cut. Those are the parts shown in the zip-loc bag. For those of you who may be unfamiliar with this kit, there are numerous parts that are not die cut, they are printed on the balsa then must be cut out. The kit is complete with nothing missing. All the hardware is still sealed in the original packing. The complete airframe will span 44" and weight 5-6lbs. The recommended engine is a .40 to .45 2-stroke. We've built two and used a Saito and O.S. .45 four stroke on both and they look and fly great. However, I've got to tell anyone interested in this plane, this is not a kit for beginner builders. Though it's small, and made by Sig, the Smith Miniplane is a challenging build but well worth it in the end. Thanks for looking and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
