Sigma Alpha Iota

Up for auction is this fine, vintage 14k yellow gold, pearl sorority pin.

Sigma Alpha Iota, a music fraternity for women, was founded on June 12, 1903 at the University School of Music, Ann Arbor , Michigan .

This badge features a pan flute in the center of an oval with the Greek letters surrounding it along with 15 inset pearls. The back is engraved "Sigma Tau 9044 Francee Boyd Merrell 42636" and stamped with a Balfour makers mark. The pin measures 18mm (23/32") wide and weighs in at 3.1 grams.

I guarantee this pin to be 14k gold as tested. This item is in excellent, original, and wearable condition. Thank you for looking and enjoy bidding!
