This is a rare stunning Aldo Nason amorphous shaped AVEM or Arte Vetraria Muranese art glass vase. Rarely seen signed. From a Palm Beach estate. It is from the Yokohoma Series. Circa 1960. Incredible colors and design. Height 10 1/2" by 5" diameter. SIGNED NASON ALDO FOR G.S. Similar just sold at Christie's New York On December 19, 2006 for $4,800.00. Valued at $4,000 - $6,000. Not sure if that one was personally signed by Aldo Nason. In excellent condition. This is a German description translation of the similar piece: Amorphous, asymmetrically curved form, on one side over conditions and shoulder gedellt, cylindrical neck. H. 25.5 cm. Cobalt-blue sounded glass, colorless, in several intermediate layers included, blown up Goldfolie, partially in volume examination, türkisfarben stopping flowering oxides over-catch, over it Murrine from white and dark-violet glass in irregular arrangement.
