ANTONIO RAVINAL IS A GUATEMALAN ARTIST WHO USES A SPECIAL TECHNIQUE CALLED CHIP CARVING IN ORDER TO SUGGEST THE RICH AND COLORFUL TEXTILES THAT ARE WORN IN GUATEMALA.HE HAS A COUPLE OF WOOD CARVED SCULPTURES ON DISPLAY AT THE GLENCAIRN MUSEUM IN BRYN ATHYN, PENNSYLVANIA.THIS PARTICULAR PIECE IS 10 INCHES WIDE BY 4 INCHES DEEP BY 10 INCHES TALL.HIS NAME IS CARVED INTO THE BOTTOM OF THE PIECE.Subject is figure working with fabric.There is one small stick in the loom that is missing on one side, but that is the only thing I can see, hardly noticeableShips daily from smoke free home in sturdy cardboard box adu2bin500
