Description: Gorgeous 19th century Gendge Moghan rug that was woven in South Caucasus, around 124 years ago. This gorgeous and colorful rug has date which is 1882 and signature that shown next to the date. This design is one of the famous and old design in Caucasian rugs. Look at the fantastic memling gul design in great different and happy colors with stylized of dogs, goats, and men which you can see through themedallions. Those are really bold and absolutely incredible. Very nice gold, awesome old green, red at two different shape, blue also at two different shape, dark natural brown, white and ivory make this rug absolutely collectors' treasure. All colors are natural and 100% vegetal dyes. This fantastic antique rug has good condition for its age. It was made with wool on wool foundation, short even pile all over, and both ends and selvages are complete. One of the ends are not orginal and other end and selvages are original. It has some repiling areas in and t which was done by good work. The really significant size of this rug is: 7'-2"x3'-7".
