Signed Diego Rivera (LR) portrait drawing on paper. The drawing is unframed yet still has remnants of tape that was used to frame the drawing originally. The piece is know kept in a plastic sleeve to protect it. Rivera was one of the best known Mexican painters and draftsmen and was most important figures in the Mexican mural movement. This drawing is one of many that have been recovered and is in excellent condition from Rivera. His attention to detail in the small area of this drawing is amazing and very typical of his work. 5.25`H x 3.25`W, Circa - first half of the 20th C.
