This is a great chalkware sad face clown bust made by the ESCO Co. in 1987 and signed on the back. This is a shabby looking clown and was purposely made as such with missing paint bits on his hat and jacket. His face and hands are free of these white bits. You can paint the spots if it bothers you, but it wasn't made that way originally. The shine on his chin (beard) is just from the camera and is not blemished. He is about 11" tall and 10 1/2" wide and weighs around 8 lbs. He belongs to a neighbor I am selling this for. She has had it in a cabinet behind glass doors and it has never been handled.
