***Fabulous RENE LALIQUE *Chrysis* Nude Figure, a 1920s design, as shown in the many photos provided recreated by his son Marc Lalique in 1949 and signed "Lalique France". Very Rare Signed Original-Authentic 1949 Art Glass Sculpture and guaranteed as such. Fantastic form, frosted glass ornament of one of his favorite designs, a nude woman, for early luxury automobile hoods such as Hispano Suiza, Isotta Fraschini, Bugatti, Bentley, etc. , in excellent overall condition, minor wear to base. Guaranteed old and authentic and signed by the maker on the base. This was acquired from a large long time collector of luxury car hood ornaments - mascot, it is truly a stunning piece of art glass .
