Antique Mission Oak 3/4 Armchair...signed: Grand Ledge Chair Co., circa 1910
Partial paper label under seat... signed Grand Ledge Chair Company, Grand Ledge, Michigan. Nice HEAVY chair w/ sturdy arm design. 38-1/2" tall. Width measured at the arms is 26". Perfect desk chair...3/4 arm design allows chair to be pulled up close to desk or table. Also usable at the dining table. Many features! Mackmurdo foot style front post bottoms. Notched u-back crest rail. Large decorative tacks. Sturdy arm supports, screwed into frame and stretcher. Front posts notched to accept seat (see detail in photo). Nice original finish. See page from the 1910 Grand Ledge catalog below...page 26, it is model #273. Only defect is the caned seat foundation is broken through (see photo). $35 pro-packing fee, helps ensure safe arrival to you.
