I am offering for auction an Exceptional opportunity to purchase a Spectacular Cut Glass Cruet. It was made by the T. J. Hawkes Glass Company. It is signed with the older trefoil signature. It was polished with a wood wheel. This is one gem that really does not need any description. Photos speak for themselves. It measures 7 1/8" tall and 3 1/2" wide. YOU ARE BIDDING ON A MATCHED SET. THE CRUET AND THE STOPPER ARE BOTH NUMBERED #14. An unusual feature is an eight sided base. THE BASE HAS BEEN EXPERTLY CUT INTO AN EXCEPTIONAL 48 POINT STAR. This brilliant work of art is in perfect condition. With a magnifiying glass it does have a few very very tiny pin pricks from use. Its condition shows that it has obviously been cherished all these many years. The master cutting is superior. The cutting on the neck is so spectacular, it is like none I have ever seen before. It has a fully extended 24 point star on the base. I would date it to about 1915. The blank is crystal clear. Don't let this price fool you. We have been collecting Cut Glass for 35+ years. It is now time to liquidate some of our stock but we don't seem to be getting anyw We literally have 100's of pieces. THIS IS A MUST FOR ANYONE WHO LOVES COLLECTING CUT GLASS AS MUCH AS WE DO. Email any questions before bidding. Check my other auction sites. Bid with confidence.
