Hello! Welcome to our auctions!!! We love vintage jewelry... and so will you! There is nothing better than wearing a unique piece of vintage jewelry, something that catches everyone's attention, something that is special. Most of the jewelry we sell is from 50 to 100 years old. Vintage jewelry will have age wear...please don't expect it to be in brand new condition. Our jewelry will show age appropriate wear. Part of the charm of vintage jewelry is the look and design.... to have something that you won't see everyone else wearing!!! This fabulous vintage necklace set was made by Hobe. It has four strands with the most beautiful Venetian wedding cake glass beads, faceted white vintage plastic beads (to keep the set from becoming too heavy) and sparkling aurora rhinestone rondelles. The Venetian glass beads are black with applied glass flowers in pink, blue and a touch of yellow. They also have sparkling gold flecked applied glass swirls. The beads are all wired together and I love the fancy gold colored metal bead caps! The maximum wearable length of the necklace measures almost 16" long including the hook and tail closure (can be worn shorter). The Venetian glass beads vary a little in size since they were handmade and most of them measure about 3/4" long. The clip on dangle earrings measure a little over 1 3/8" long. The necklace is signed HOBE on each of the bars. The earrings are unsigned and are an unmistakable match. You will love this fabulous vintage Hobe set!!!
