just got back from an exceptional auction in upstate New York. The estate owners were the grandchildren of prominent figures from New York City in the early to mid 1900s.The collection was amazing including some very rare old Asian pieces.I was fortunate enough to have won several of these fine items so please take a look at my auctions, as I will be listing all items in the next several weeks. The collection of paintings from the above estate was amazing.I will be listing all this week-all pieces are guaranteed as stated.This is a very special piece done by a very talented artist.The piece is signed and dated-I can not make out the artist signature the date is 1939.Under a loop the piece looks to be some type of Charcoal or watercolor on paper or maybe both.The detail is fantastic and very skillfully done.This looks like it could end up to be something special-Hopefully someone will recognize the artist.The piece measures 30-"x24" framed-overall condition looks good.Thanks-T will be an additional 10.00 art handling fee on this auction.
