Absolutely fantastic " SIGNED IMPERIAL JAPANESE NAVAL OFFICERS SWORD with his ALL BROWN NAVAL OFFICERS RANK TASSEL hanging perfectly in its Sarute, and on his BELT for the DOUBLE HUNG SWORD . Everything is in fantastic condition! PLEASE SEE THE MANY PHOTOS ! They speak to the great conditon of this entire outfit! The sword has the upgraded fully pierced Tsuba with 4 pierced Seppa and a great looking set of Fuchi with a great working button lock! The fit and lock are tight as they should be. The Nakago (tang) has one Ani (hole) and is signed with a strong Mei on one side (see the photos). The Same, Tsuka, two Menuki, Kabuto, Tsuka-ito and Sarute (tassel holder) are all in super condition. Again, please see the photos! The point is fine and t do not appear to be any problems with the blade. It is brite with NO nicks or cuts etc. The overall length including the Saya is approximately 44 1/2" inches, point to end of Habachi is 31" inches and from point to end of Kabuto is 38 1/2" inches. Finding a "COMPLETE" outfit like this is difficult enough but to find one that is in this great condition and a " NAVAL " one is getting to be almost impossible!
