This is an original Johannes Hansen Danish chair. Johannes Hansen Copehagen Denmark is branded on the side of the seat rail. T is a tag which states that it was sold at the Georg Jensen Store at 667-5th Ave. New York City. "The Chair" is constructed of mahogany . The seat and underneath are all original. The back and arms are dove-tailed together."The Chair" is 27 1/2" inches tall on the front, from arm to floor. The seat is 16" inches long by 22" inches wide. The back of the chair is 4 3/4" inches wide."The Chair" is in very good condition, the leather seat is distressed and does have a small crack in it.
