MULTIPLE USC SIGNATURES "The Game is On" is a complete history of this great 50-year series between Notre Dame and USC, with photos, stories and rosters of every player since 1926, with special information on (and/or photos of) controversial game legends: The Thundering Herd. The Four Horsement, John Wayne, The Gipper, Knute Rockne, Morley Drury, Ward Bond, The Wild Bunch, Frank Gifford, Johnny Lujack, Paul Hornung, Howard Jones, Angelo Bertelli, John Huarte, Mike arrett, Jon Arnett, Joe Theismann, Ricky Bell and O.J. Simpson are but a few of the greats. Hardcover with dust jacket. Contains 285 pages in good condition. Jacket has some edge wear and several small edge tears, and a few pages are wavy. Book is signed by several people to "Howard on his 50th Birthday". Signatures are dated 1981. Names include Larry & Loi, Mrs. Craig Mortin, The Mesquita's, The Fox, Bo, and others. Jon Arnett is a three-year letterman (1954-55-56) at USC. He was All-American in 1955 and played in the 1955 Rose Bowl. He was Captain of the USC football team in 1956. He won the prestigious Voit Award, given to the top player on the west coast in 1955 and 1956.
