A very large, French Art Glass, clear & frosted vase.

A footed vase with clear, stylized seashells (shells) In the "Art Deco" style. The style name is "Cancale". The original was designed by Rene Lalique himself in 1942. An example is pictured on page 472 in the book "R. Lalique" by Felix Marcilhac.

It measures about 12" (30.5 cm.) tall, 8 1/4" (21 cm.) in diameter & weighs about 5 1/2 pounds (very heavy).

It is in excellent condition for its age with no cracks or chips. Very minor wear scratches to base due to its age & heaviness. It is perfect for gift giving, especially to that "hard to buy for" loved one. Bid now! It was the only one at auction on ebay at time of listing. When will you get another chance?

Signed in script "Lalique France". This mark was used 1945-1980. This is from the earlier part of that period.
